We are a nursery located in Purton, which is just on the outskirts of swindon, which has been established since 1974 running from a private room within the Methodist Church which has an outside play space. We welcome children and families from all socal, cultural and religious backgrounds from the age of 2, up until school age. We include all children with specialist and additional needs. Children who attend other specialist settings are welcome to join us as a dual setting.
We are registered with Ofsted who carry out regular inspections and ensure we adhere to the Early Years Foundation Stage legal requirements.
Caroline has dedicated her career to working with and supporting children. Starting as a nursery apprentice with a vision of owning her own nursery, she climbed the ranks to management. She has also held roles as a childminder and a family support worker, always driven by a passion to assist children facing significant challenges.
Her dedication stems from personal experiences where she encountered major challenges with minimal support. This led her to countless nights of research, seeking ways to overcome these challenges independently.
Today, she aims to leverage her experiences, both personal and as a former manager for children with SEN, to aid other families. The joy she feels when these children master a new skill or make eye contact is immeasurable.
While her establishment is not exclusively a SEN nursery, she wants families to know that it's a haven for children with greater challenges, and she is committed to working collaboratively to ensure every child flourishes.
A mother to four children and stepmother to two, her weekends are often spent on the rugby field or playing chauffeur. Managing such a large family isn't easy, but it's always rewarding and filled with lively moments.
